Rental Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a booking on this website, the Renter acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This constitutes a legally binding contract governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
2. Driver Requirements
Age: All drivers must be 25 years of age or older.
License: A valid, physical driver’s license must be presented at pickup.
Authorized Drivers: Only the Renter and pre-approved additional drivers are permitted to operate the vehicle. Allowing an unauthorized driver will result in a $250 penalty and voids all protection coverages.
3. Insurance & Protection Coverages
Optional but Recommended: All insurance protections and Limited Damage Waivers (LDW) offered are not mandatory but are highly recommended for your protection.
Opting Out: By opting out of any coverage, the Renter accepts full financial responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to the vehicle, regardless of fault.
Accident Protocol: In the event of an accident, the Renter must remain at the scene, contact the police for an official report, and notify the Company immediately. Failure to provide a police report voids all coverages.
4. Security Deposits & Payments
Security Deposit: A refundable deposit is required at pickup ($100 for economy; $150 for sedans/vans).
Refunds: Deposits are released after a successful vehicle inspection.
Outstanding Balances: All rental charges, taxes, and incidental fees must be settled in full by the end of the rental period.
5. Cancellations & Returns
Cancellation Policy:
12+ hours notice: Full deposit refund.
Less than 12 hours notice: Deposit is forfeited.
Within 24 hours of start: A $50 service fee may apply.
Early Returns: No refunds or credits are issued for vehicles returned less than 24 hours before the scheduled end time.
6. Vehicle Usage & Restrictions
Paved Roads Only: Vehicles must not be driven off-road, on beaches, or on unpaved tracks. Damage from off-road use is the Renter's full responsibility.
Prohibited Acts: Driving under the influence (DUI), reckless driving, or using the vehicle for illegal activities is strictly prohibited and terminates the contract immediately without refund.
Smoking: All vehicles are 100% smoke-free. A $150 cleaning fee applies to any vehicle returning with smoke odor or ash.
7. Fees & Incidental Charges
Fuel: Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup. Missing fuel is billed at $6.00 per gallon plus a $10.00 service fee.
Late Returns: 15–60 mins late: $20. Over 1 hour: $50 per hour.
Cleaning: Excessive dirt, sand, or stains will result in a cleaning fee of $50 to $150.
Tickets/Fines: The Renter is responsible for all traffic/parking violations plus a $25 administrative fee per citation.
Lost Keys: Replacement for lost or damaged keys/fobs starts at $250.
8. Roadside Assistance
Optional Roadside Assistance is available. Standard Protection ($5/day) is available Mon–Sat (9 AM – 6 PM). Plus Protection ($10/day) is available Mon-Sat (9 am - 8pm). If protection is not purchased, call-outs for user-errors (lockouts, jumpstarts) start at $50 per incident
